Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association

Founded in 1887

Since 2025, the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association has awarded the A-Mark Prize for Public Service Journalism as part of its annual Better Newspaper Contest. The Prize rewards public service journalism that achieves a positive result. This can include raising awareness of critical issues, sparking public dialogue, influencing policy, or providing practical solutions that lead to tangible changes.
